In light of the recent news headlines around Halal slaughtering methods, weve received a few enquiries as to our own methods so just thought wed clarify this for all our customers. Our beef and lamb is taken direct from local farms to be slaughtered at Jacksons Abbatoir, near Knutsford - a family-run business which, like all of our suppliers, adheres to high standards of animal welfare. All animals are stunned before slaughtering. Similarly, our free range pork and chicken from Packington Farm is slaughtered in accordance with RSPCA Freedom Food guidelines and animals are stunned before being killed.
