In light of the recent tornado in our area, many people in the village of Cloverdale Ohio and surrounding area have lost everything. Volunteers will be collecting items Thursday November 21st from 5-7pm at the Oak Haven facility on Main Street in Cloverdale, Ohio. (formerly the Paradise Oaks nursing home). They will be collecting toiletries, canned goods, toys and some clothing. Here are the specific sizes for the families in Cloverdale that have been affected. Ladies Pants size 12 and 5 Long, Ladies tops, Med and XL, Mens pants 32 X 34 and 34 X 32, Mens tops XL, mens size medium sweatpants, Mens shoes 8 1/2, womens shoes 8. One lady is expecting so they are looking for small maternity clothes for her. Boys 3T, Girls 4-5T, Girls 2T, and 12-18 month boy. We are also looking for toys. If anyone would like to help from 7-9 Thursday to help sort items and sizes at the Oak Haven, we would greatly appreciate it. If everyone could pass the word around about the canned goods and toiletries that would help a bunch too. If anyone would like to volunteer on Friday to help pass out items to the Cloverdale residents that would help too (9am til???) Please feel free to share this as well. Again, thank you all for everything you have done and continue to do for the people of Cloverdale and the surrounding areas. Thanks everyone for helping!!! Its wonderful to live in a community that is so giving!!!!!
