In loving memory of Misty, a beautiful 14 year old Beagle from Wallingford, PA. Misty lay peaceful on her bed beside her loving mother and father. They spoke of her, with a positive tone that only comes from knowing that she was an amazing dog for them and that they were comforted knowing they gave her a great life. Her parents talked about her and her animal playmates from the past, mainly the cats that were more dog-like than her....Misty, they said, was a cat-dog. I could tell she had the gentle nature of a cat. Poor Misty became ill- her parents first noticing a drop in appetite. Now, Misty may have been more like a cat than a dog, but she still had the appetite of a Beagle! So, her parents knew something was wrong. They continued to show her love and tried to see if there was something they could do. But at her age, nothing easy could be going on. When her condition progressed and she seemed to be getting more ill, her parents did the most loving thing and allowed to cross that rainbow bridge with the dignity she deserved. She earned her angel wings, for all the great years she gave her loving family. Rest in peace, sweet Misty. You will be remembered always. Watch over your family like the angel you are. ~Dr. Brad
