In loving memory of one of our favorite researchers. Dr. Dawn A. Marcus along with Wheatie and Tobie graced the cover of our summer issue of Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain LIFE magazine. The ever-busy #Dr. #Marcus, a professor in the University of Pittsburghs anesthesiology department and Animal Friends volunteer, rarely had a day in which she wasnt trying to help someone with her medical practice, teaching or writing, or simply through her or her dogs friendly compassion. Her #fibromyalgia #research focused on how fibromyalgia impacts families as well as the the following article on the strong benefit of pet therapy. We will miss her tremendously.
