In many of the worlds religions and especially in Christianity, performing miracles is a task that can only be accomplished by truly divine individuals.The bible dictates that Jesus was one of the greatest miracle workers of all time performing such tasks as giving sight to the blind, giving a deaf man the ability to hear, calming storms simply by raising his hands, healing the sick and even raising the dead. Now what would you say, if I told you that each one of you has the wisdom and ability to also perform these same acts of miraculous power? Not literally, but figuratively. The word miracle is also defined as a highly extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences, and I believe that these types of miracles are not only very common, but can also be performed by any of us. Helping someone who is blinded by hatred, fear and resentment, to finally open their eyes and see the cosmic connection that links us all together as one, should be considered a miracle. Convincing someone to open their hearts and minds to the opinions, beliefs and ideas of others, when before they would only have fall upon deaf ears truly is an extraordinary task. By intervening in a possible hostile or heated argument as a peacemaker, you could calm a potentially negative storm from raging uncontrollably and causing horrible damage simply by extending your hands in friendship. You could heal the sick of heart ,who may be so riddled with emotional and mental pain and anguish, by helping them to find the Loving light that resides in all of us. And finally you can help raise another from the proverbial grave of hopelessness and suffering by shining your light of positivity and Love for them to follow and start to rebuild their lives by. We have no way of knowing the real impact that our actions and words have on the lives of others. One simple act of kindness could give that depressed person you encountered on the street the strength to face another day, instead of ending their life. One kind word can mend that young ladys broken heart and convince her to not give up on once again finding Love. The very fact that we are all here on this planet together is a miracle, lets not waste the time we have been given by simply straggling in the shadows, get out there into the light and be a true miracle worker.
