In many old Catholic churches throughout the world you can find spiraling columns as part of the interior decoration. Often they come in pair and are placed on both sides of an entry. Where one column moves clockwise the other moves counter clockwise. If these columns represent a passage to wisdom that can only be taken in neutrality and balance and if these columns represent the feminine and masculine creative powers cooperating in beautiful harmony, does it then make more sense to interpret positive and negative as turning direction of the spiraling movement or as good and evil? In case of the first, I believe one finds the root of Christian principles being balance, harmony, cooperation with peace and abundance as results. In case of the last I believe one finds the story that was once created by a male dominated religious and political world that thinks and acts out of fear, in competition and pictured Eve and any other feminine force as seductive, lesser of value and even not worthy at all. The results can be seen in the world we now live in. I thank all participants who created the last as it is a tough but beautiful experience. Yet now the time has come to choose between these two interpretations. Choose wisely.
