In many ways, governments around the world translate what they - TopicsExpress

In many ways, governments around the world translate what they think is their version of what is best for all of their people. One philosophy that was born in Athens Greece in prerecorded history was democracy. Democracy throughout history has been adopted in many ways by most, but not all, of the countries and territories around the globe. Some democracies were born from people revolting from forms of government that caused pain for many of its citizens such as the 1991 Soviet transformation. It is, by most measures, an emotional experience to watch people vote after a democratic revolution takes place. For example, the Iraqi people voted for the first time in decades after Saddam Hussein fell from power in 2003. In this vote, the most heart worming scenes were of people emerging from THEIR voting booths with ink stained fingers and the belief that their vote actually counted. In the future, one of the ways that countries around the globe can do is form a political system where, instead of having limited numbers of political parties, it would be absolutely essential to form multiple parties and maximum participation. This idea is just one of many that should be added to the rule of law portion of the carrot and stick approach in the unifying system set forth in the one billion dollar philosophy mentioned in earlier postings here.
