In maps of the world of George R R Martins A Song of Ice and Fire, a city named Carcosa is labeled on the easternmost edge of the map along the coast of a large lake, near other magical cities such as Asshai. It is one of several references to Lovecraft in the series. It has not yet been mentioned in any of the books, however, and may not actually exist in the universe, as the maps are stated to have many inaccuracies on the eastern half of the mapped world.
