In martial arts its important to remain meditatively(present moment awareness)centered(Third Eye Directed)and calm(Relaxed)especially when in two person sparring or two person training drills such as this stick drill called six count.It is like being in a tornado whirling around you as you engage with another.Sticks flowing quickly,fists and feet,but one must train themselves to stay in their center of calmness within no matter if their being swept,joint locked,struck or thrown one must remain not in it,but observing it with present moment centered mind.It is an invaluable life skill in such a sometimes hectic world.Senior students Eric Moorcroft and Chris Vivar training theCentered Mindtechnique.
