In memory and respect for Travis Alexander, this was the last time - TopicsExpress

In memory and respect for Travis Alexander, this was the last time his family got to see Travis. Saying goodbye is oh so hard. Especially under circumstances such as these. However, I have to ask...... What could possibly be so funny in the murder trial of Travis Alexander that would cause Jodis mother and sister to always be captured on camera just like shown here? This is a photo of Jodi’s mother and her twin sister, Sandy in court for Jodis trial. And this was an ongoing thing daily. There were all giggles and laughter.....it became a common thing for us to see. This is their daughter and niece that is facing the death penalty yet, every day they were photographed laughing throughout the day. I just dont get it. It did rub many of us in the wrong way but I realize everyone reacts to situations in different ways. Personally, I wouldn’t have cracked a grin during the entire session of the trial....period! My focus would be on the horrible and horrific murder that my daughter had committed. Looking in from the outside, they just didn’t seem to be taking any of the trial seriously. There were pictures caught of them partying at night, shooting pool and drinking into late at night. Now Im not passing judgment on them.....its just not the way I would have behaved with such a critical decision hanging over my daughters head. Then on the other side in comparison, look at the photos of the Alexander family. This is what true grief looks like. And they encountered this every single day of the trial. They had to sit and listen to all of the horrendous lies told about their brother while the lies just ripped their hearts out. I just couldn’t bear it if it was me having to sit thru that. But the Alexander’s have been the definition of grace throughout this entire trial. In the last picture, Jodi is looking back at her family for moral support, I suppose after her guilty verdict had been pronounced. She looked rather surprised that the jurors voted 12-0 to convict her. Look at the difference in emotions from all the people involved. But one thing will always remain, whether the Arias’ are laughing or giggling, their daughter and niece were found guilty of a cruel murder. Because we find nothing funny at all about the death of Travis Alexander!!! His life mattered and he will not be forgotten! Admin/Sharon…..
