In my 11+ years at ESPN, I saw many, many examples of professionalism in the face of tragedy. While I was still trying to deal with my own feelings and not even able to articulate them with any sense of meaning, the on-air anchors were able to. I saw it repeatedly and I was always so thankful that they were there to help us cope and begin to process our thoughts with their words. Rich Eisen left ESPN many years ago and has gone on to have a very successful career with the NFL Network, but his love for his fellow SportsCenter anchor is so genuine and heartfelt.
