In my 46 years i have done alot of things wrong. 4 things i have done right is giving birth to my kids and i will be the first to admit that i haven always done right by them. i have put myself first alot of times when i should have put them before myself. i have struggled with drug addiction since i was 18 and if a person hasn been there they have no idea what its like to overcome something that powerful, something that robs you of everything that was once so important to you, family, career, money-everything!!! im finally at the point in my life where i have a relationship with someone that i care so very very much about. im trying to rebuild a relationship with my kids that i missed out on so much while they were growing up. its never to late to start over, lord knows im not one to give advice to anyone but please if you are in the position that i have been in-start now-today on rebuilding those relationships. i dont expect my kids to except my life style. right now i dont even expect them to accept me as the mother they need-i just want to start off as being their friend. i have no idea where this came from-except from the heart and i hope each of them will read this and understand that i never have or never will stop loving them!!!
