In my Live Fire Concealed Carry course through SAFERUSA I spend an hour going over up-close encounters like this one. The training you received in order to get your permit is not enough. Take additional training that actually puts you in scenarios that you have to think and act through. The end of the article asks what the CCW permit holder did wrong.
