In my continuing search for creatures of many colors my friend - TopicsExpress

In my continuing search for creatures of many colors my friend Norman and I traveled north to an area where creatures of many colors have been known to travel in packs, the CSXs River Line between Selkirk yard and Northern New Jersey. Our first stop was Fort Montgomery, NY where the local creatures sport a coloration of blue, yellow and grey. Variations of these colors are common among the species who seem to travel together without an apparent rancor. We were, however, not seeking the ordinary. As in previous safaris to various locations we traveled here in search of the unusual, creatures whose coloration is in terrible contrast to the normal. Unfortunately, the creatures for whom we search tend to be shy and this morning were reluctant to show themselves for our benefit. Here we see a pack of the common variety critters in their blue, grey, and yellow plumage headed south from CP 43 after having to wait for one of its kind to pass in the opposite direction so narrow is the path at this location. At another location in the same general area more creatures are captured digitally just before crossing the Doodletown Bight onto Iona Island. This is a common area for birdwatching as well as a good location to wait in ambush for the elusive creatures of many colors. While unsuccessful this day we will continue our search until we bag our limit of creatures of many colors.
