In my field of Social work(administration) I have found out some of the characteristics of an abused child: Withdrawn, depressed, low self esteem, lack of communication, fear, and sometimes even violent depending on the severity of the abuse. And what we do is try to counsel them to talk or find an avenue to release so that the healing process can begin! And thats what I sense in the Spirit; many who have been ab-used in church by many things that they dont talk about but ACT OUT! Jesus is saying I am the WONDERFUL COUNSELOR! CAST ALL THAT JUNK ON ME! IM THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS THE POWER TO HEAL AND DELIVER YOU FROM UNSPOKEN PAIN! HE CARES!!!
