In my lifetime. Can I just say Thank You to the tireless activists who have fought for this, against impossible odds and in the face of truly hateful opposition. Not that Ill bet on which way SCOTUS will rule, mind you. They are an unpredictable collection of justices, most of whom Id chew through steel rather than be trapped on an elevator with, but... The fact that this has finally risen to the highest court in the land, and Im here to see it, is its own reason to celebrate and continue to believe in Hope.
