In my line of work, I am often asked about friends or relatives with serious, life threatening illnesses, or who are clearly nearing the end of their road. By law, and by nature, I cannot and do not ever say they will die in X days/weeks/months/years. That is between them and their God. But I will often say, The best thing you can do is to make sure, every time you see them, everything is said between you before you leave. Every time. That way, you will never have a regret that they didnt hear that Important Thing from you. In light of two peoples posts this morning, that may be the very best way to live. Because we never know when our times up, our ticket gets punched -- or theirs is. Every moment is a gift. Every moment you can gift another with your words, your Seeing of them. Every moment can be the moment you remember best in your life -- but you wont know if it is until later. So be in the moment -- clearly, deeply, taking it all right down to the rind. At the very least, youll have some great stories to tell in the Afterlife Cafe.
