In my opinion, an insult to every single assistant coach who has been slaving away all these years hoping to get a break. And every collegiate head coach who has dedicated countless hours honing his craft in the hopes that a professional team would notice him and give him a chance. This appointment sends a very bad message: that hard work and sacrifice will get you nowhere, but connections, name recognition, and star power will. I have not been a big PBA fan since I was a kid.
