In my profession I have cooked and eaten provisions, dumplings and salted fish in so many different ways. But nothing is better than the simple Good Friday meal that I grew up on. Good Friday meals have taken on a whole new dimension with all the ethnic culinary fusions. But I always yearn for those flavors that my mom put into her cooking that no amount of duplication can ever recreate. Her is my simple old fashioned Good Friday meal
