In my walk to find faith I stumbled on a conversation tonight with a man I have never met in a place I never thought Id have this type of talk. He said his grand mother made him read the Bible cover to cover often and was quizzed about. He said he had a few questions himself that even she couldnt answer. So he said let me ask you. ( I by no means and a Bible scholar and have never read the entire book.) He said if Eve ate the apple and then was condemned to feel the pain of birth, why did it not say Mary felt pain when she have birth to Jesus? now while this man was asking me a question I honestly am in no way qualified to answer I was saying in my own head ( lord please give me the answer to help this men) Then I responded that Mary was a virgin and and gave birth to Jesus through divine intervention. Therefore the same rules do not apply as they would anywhere else in nature. He shook my hand and said that was the first reasonable answer anybody has ever given him for that question. I reminded him that I dont know the answer but that just seemed like a logical answer. If anyone else has a better answer please let me know. I dont know if I will ever meet this person again but I would like to be able to give a better answer. Thats just all I had at the moment.
