In need of some advice as I smell a rat but might be wrong. Has anyone ever sold a car via Gumtree using PayPal. I am currently going through the process of doing so. The bloke is sending me more money to pay a agent to pick it up the car. Paypal have emailed me saying money is pending once I have set up the money for the agent is sent to him via western union. Has anyone ever used it? Reason I smell a rat is that the money is so call pending and doesnt show up either in my PayPal account or bank account pending. I receive money and use the money once I have set up 950 dollars to go to his agent. To get a mtcn number. That I must email back to PayPal. Has anyone out there used this way of payment. I am so confused. And dont want to send 950 dollars till its showing pending payment somewhere
