In observance of Veterans Day, November 11, 2014, the U.S. National Park Service will honor our brave men and women who have served in the Armed Forces by waiving fees to all U.S. National Parks for all park visitors. Show your support to our service members by visiting one of the several national parks within driving distance of the 34th District of Texas, such as Padre Island National Sea Shore or Palo Alto Battlefield north of Brownsville. Active duty members who visit Padre Island National Sea Shore may also sign up for a free annual pass, which allows service members and their families to visit all national parks free of charge throughout the year.
