In observing all of the hype and hoopla of the GMO issue, and the people involved in it...Ive noticed there is a new industry in America: CONSPIRACY. Think about every issue we fight over...artificial sweetener versus sugar versus HFCS... GMO versus Organic...Vaccinate or Vaccines Kill... all of the issues that get people frothing at the mouth and spouting obscenities. Every disagreement comes from someone, some where, saying that despite the accepted science of the world, (not just scientists in the US mind you, were talking big picture here) that some facet of industry, science, or medicine they have no understanding of is out to kill its consumer base. Think for a second, how ludicrous that is: Medicine, Science-at-large, Nutrition, and even simple sciences like Botany... despite being rooted in fundamental methodology that invites scrutiny and is constantly being done and redone to ensure results are consistent and verifiable... is now debatable? Big Con, or Big Conspiracy actively, everyday seeks to inject our collective psyche with quackery, and they profit it from it greatly. How greatly you ask? Heres something crazy for you...Look up how much money is made from Conspiracy theory literature, documentaries, YouTube channels, websites, and direct to DVD and BluRay sales and the numbers are in the millions. How many? Thats the REAL conspiracy, as some sites say its as little as a paltry $250 MILLION dollars..and others refuse to put dollars to individuals or companies that thrive in Conspiracy based sales. There is a good reason for this too: Once you discredit your conspiracy theory publisher, producer, or blogger...it really seems to impact that bottom line. And the bottom line is the next time you hear someone say wake up or its a conspiracy or even the humble What the experts dont want you to know ... chances are what follows after is complete horseshit. Horseshit may be great for fertilizer, but its absolutely terrible as a sandwich stuffing. Yet, so many seem so willing to scarf down that manure hoagie with the type of zeal that should only be reserved for aspiring black holes... the con is definitely, in. #teachtheconspiracy
