In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash has said that October 27 brought misfortune and destruction to Jammu and Kashmir. Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar, while supporting the strike call, urged the Kashmiri people make it a success to convey to India that they rejected its illegal hold on their homeland.Supporting the London Million March being conducted tomorrow (Sunday), Yousuf Naqash said that the democratic, politico-diplomatic voice against Indian occupation and oppression in favour of freedom would obviously boost the ongoing freedom movement. He suggested that such peaceful marches should also be organised in all over the world to inform the people about the concerns, miseries and hardships suffered by the Kashmiris due to the Indian occupation. He ridiculed the visit of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and said that he visited flood-ravaged Kashmir just to mislead the world that India was concerned about the devastation caused by the floods in the occupied territory. Yousuf Naqash said that the aid announced by the Indian Prime Minister for the Kashmiri flood affectees was a cruel joke with them and rubbing salt to their wounds. “People of Kashmir are not beggars, let India free Kashmir. People here will manage to rebuild Kashmir by inviting international aid, which India has denied,” he added.
