In one of its programs recently, BBC reported that unlike other seasonal crops, the price of Cashew nuts sometimes goes up very high and for no apparent reason its price comes drastically down. Reminds me of our politicians; before election the price of the leaders in the third world countries comes down to the record low…and lo, right after the election their price soar high again beyond our imagination. Before election they promise: We will make our country Switzerland; after election, sure the country turns into Swaziland! No way! Every election time we completely forget to let them spell Switzerland correctly. There was one journalist turned minister in the 90s in Nepal. When one of his close associates went to visit him in his office some time after the election, he is said to have famously asked him in dismay: How come you are here without an appointment!
