In one of my all-time favorite movies, THE LION KING, Simba has a vision of His deceased father, who disappointedly tells Him, Simba, you have forgotten me. Although Simba thought of His father often, he had forgotten him, because he had not ACTED upon this knowledge. He remembered who His father was but, what good was this knowledge, what was He going to do about it? I have thought recently about what it means to fulfill the promise to ALWAYS remember my Savior Jesus Christ. Of course I remember Him, how could I forget? He is my savior. He lived for me. He died for me. I love Him. Simba came to understand that remembering His father meant acting like His fathers son. It meant he had a role to become. Remembering Jesus Christ means I have a role to become. Remembering Jesus means Im trying to be like Jesus. How do you ACT on your remembrance of Jesus? Please comment and share!
