In order for JP Morgan Chase Bank to be able to implement their 100 million dollar take over of Detroit they must first create hopelessness and poverty! The Banks Ownership of Detroit will allow them to privatize and sell all taxpayer owned buildings, parks and businesses. They may then begin culling out those citizens who they deem cannot afford to live in their NEW city by raising water and electricity rates, cutting off all emergency services, firing all of Detroits elected officials and replacing them with a Czar like dictator, (i.e. ...City Mgr)! These intentional extreme measures are certain to drive those who are less than the desired, 1% to leave Detroit! Detroit will become a Wall Street, Corporate elitists Utopia! The poverty rate in Detroit is approximately 40 percent, and people have seen their water bills increase by 119 percent within the last decade. Most of the residents are African American. Two-thirds of those impacted by the water shutoffs involve families with children. Meanwhile, the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, or DWSD, had defended its actions, saying the water shutoffs are necessary for alleviating the department’s debts.
