In order for me to take anyone claiming to be expert on any single thing seriously, regardless of the fact they have written books for profit, they had better formulate their arguments in fact. With all due respect to Mr. Parakevas, his mantra of allowing the West to ruin what the EAO had done in creating the Egyptian Arabian horse has at least one very large hole in it. In his speech to the Asil club, he has concluded Nazeers sire, Mansour, to be an outcross from the sire line of Khalil via his son Saklawi I. What we do know about Mansour is that he is 25% inbred to Rabdan Al Azrak being the result of breeding Rabdans grandson, Gamil Manial (via his dam Dalal), to Rabdans granddaughter, Nafaa El Saghira (via her dam Nafaa El Kebira). Though some may not considering this inbreeding, it is at least linebreeding and is not outcross breeding. In addition to that being known, is the unknown portions of Mansours pedigree. From his dam, Nafaa El Saghira, the parents of her sire, Meanagi Selebi are unknown. Also, the parents of Nafaa El Saghiras maternal granddam, Donia, are also unknown. For sure, these unknowns could easily be Rabdan Al Azrak and Dalal or any other related ancestor found in Mansours genetic background A similar pattern of inbreeding is true for the dam of Nazeer, Bint Samiha. Bint Samihas sire, Kazmeen, was the result of breedng a Mesaoud (Mesaoud being an Aziz son) grandson to a Mesaoud granddaughter making him 25% inbred to Mesaoud. Kazmeens sire, Sotamm, was the result of breeding a Queen of Sheba son, to a Queen of Sheba granddaughter making Sotamm 37.5% inbred to Queen of Sheba. Kazmeens dam, Kasima, was the result of breeding an Aziz grandson, Narkise (x Mesaoud), to an Aziz granddaughter, Kasida. Kasida was sired by Nasr I who was sired by Aziz making her 25% inbred to Aziz and 22% inbred to Zobeyni. Bint Samihas dam, Samiha, is sired by Samhan who is the result of breeding a Dahman son to a Dahman granddaughter being inbred to Dahman 37.5%. Samihas dam, Bint Hadba El Saghira, is the result of breeding a Saklawi I son to a Saklawi I daughter being inbred to Saklawi I 50%. Given Bint Hadbah El Saghira has 3 great grandparents who are unknown no one can say for sure what other inbreeding might lurk in her pedigree. These facts alone, make the statement If we really love Nazeer, we should breed towards the spirit of Nazeer and a glance at his pedigree reminds us of the necessity of outcrossing in order to get anything of his stature. a misnomer as the horses compiling Nazeers ancestry are, in fact, significantly inbred.
