In order for us to have life to its fullest, by the grace of the Lord God, we have to cultivate humility, obedience and willingness to abide by the Word of God. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ goes together with a heart that humbly acknowledges guilt at all times; with a repentant spirit. These qualities surely pleases the Lord God. King David shares this mystery,The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. [ PSALM 51: 17 (NIV) ]. From another angle, Prophet Isaiah emphasises the same point, If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land. [ ISAIAH 1: 17 ]. Our Lord Jesus Christ finishes it all by telling us that disbelieving in His Word amount to allowing Satan to steal our faith in God, thereby killing and destroying our lives, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. [ JOHN 10: 10 ]. All the blessings of God are attached to hearing His Word, obeying it and doing what it says, in our day-to-day lives. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you abundantly.
