In order to keep public spending down, Maines Gov. Cobblepot keeps - TopicsExpress

In order to keep public spending down, Maines Gov. Cobblepot keeps sending bills to the Legislature to reduce spending on thoses in need and those that cant afford healthcare coverage. These bills get rejected or watered down, which is the correct approach. One bill that would reduce public spending for years to come in Maine, would be one the states: If a sitting Governor is not reelected to a second term (serves only 4 years in that office), There will be no pension, heathcare coverage or any other benefits paid to that person, as they were was fired by the citizens. (What other job pays such stuff after only 4 years of work and the person is fired? Its been 60 years in Maine since a Governor has not been reelected for poor performance at the job.) This bill will help Maine citizens forget about such a dolt and save public funds.
