In order to provide streetcar service when floods struck, the Cincinnati Street Railway Company would build high water trestles at selected locations. This is along Spring Grove Avenue between Knowltons Corner and Colerain Ave. S-90 is a crane car capable of lifting rail. It is leading a Route 16 car over the trestle during the flood of January 1943. Single track trestle only with flagmen or block signals used to control movement. Photographer unknown.
