In order to raise awareness and inspire empathy around the brutal conditions and dehumanizing effects of chronic homelessness, a program volunteer, Seráh Blain, will live without shelter in Phoenix until we raise $56,310 ($2 for every individual who experienced homelessness in Arizona last year) supporting Madison Street Veterans Association—an amount which must be raised before Ms. Blain will end her experience.
