In order to run a successful business you must first master the art of choosing your battles. One of the common losing battles I see on Facebook are the ones that involve drama. Dont take that class! Putting your drama or someone elses drama on your wall can totally discredit you in an instant. Steer clear of controversial topics. Use discernment. If youre posting something that will cause division instead of bringing unity to your team, stop it. Being a leader isnt just having a title or a voice. Its also knowing when and how to confront a person or situation. Pouring out your complaint on Facebook about your baby mama drama or how someone did you wrong will only repel good solid people from you and cause the whiners and complainers to jump to your defense. Another losing battle is comparison. Dont get caught in the trap of comparing your journey to anyone elses. God has you right where He wants you and if you want to advance, ask yourself honestly...Am I the kind of person that God can entrust His people to? Well are you? Yes... No... Maybe? Dont forget to look inward if your feeling stuck in your business, what other areas are you stuck in that maybe youve overlooked? God is always looking for ways to really get your heart! Maybe this is what needed to happen for you to finally turn to Him. Nevertheless, in choosing your battles, especially on social media, its always going to be best if you error on the side of caution. Stay focused on what matters. Inspire your team to want to work, be the kind of leader that the masses want to follow, be humble and compassionate, be discerning but not judgemental, and finally work diligently!
