In other news... Our constitution is being torn to shreds by our own officials; disabled, elderly, and veterans are barely making it by!!!! Parents have lost the right to raise their own children without Government involvement for profit.... Do I have your attention Yet???? Democracy looonnnngggg has given way to socialism and capitalism... History taught in schools has been re-written and young men and woman who vote in this country did not have Political Science as a required course!!!... Our rights are being stripped and yet we post pictures and have opinions without educating ourselves and children... ask any 20 or 30 yr old the meaning of an electoral college or partisanship, the Bill or Rights and the significance of its amendments. Mention Chapaquitic , White Water or Water Gate, and the like..... and Lord forbid the hostage crisis, arms race, or the fall of the Berlin Wall. They VOTE... but they dont even know about the electoral college how it works or what the C.I.A. or U.N. stands for ... or what sanctions are... scary ... Oh yeah... and let us not forget the days of apartheid and segregation or ask them to name who Rosa Parks or Malcom X were and lord forbid prior to that; how the underground rail road came to be or where their white ancestors came to when they got here ... the answer would likely be that it is the subway and Ellis Island perhaps a beach resort??? Likely they think that America is not being censored and that although Bin Laden and terrorist cells were to blame for 9/11 however; we had the Shock and Awe campaign to go after Sadam Hussain???? Do we really swallow that no one ever saw the body of the head of the only major attack on American soil ( Osama not Sadam) and that his body was let off to sea out of respect for his religious beliefs??? ... Oh well if you dont count Pearl Harbor technically we have never been attacked on our own soil I guess... according to what our future generations are being taught. I am glad my father taught me this stuff when I was young because I did not learn it in school!!!! The more technology the more the Government is watching your every move and making you a conformist drone. Land of the brave yes... but most soldiers dont even fight for what the public is told. Freedom... is lost, along with basic human and civil rights. The media is just a form of telling Americans what they are only allowed to know, not what is truth! We would have complete civil unrest if only people really knew what was happening... Civil obedience and Marshall Law are not things of a futuristic movie; plays out every day and we watch. Please educate your kids and grand kids because when you cant do it they are going to be the ones no longer just voting but running this country and likely cant tell you what year the bi-centennial even was its just a cool coin . Many have no idea that Benjamin Franklin has a lot more significance than just holding a key to a flag so we have light bulbs but a staple in History and a Free Mason is a concrete worker who got out of prison.... Most people dont even know that we dont even own most of our own land, other countries, especially Japan does. In most others you can own property but never the land ... I could go on and on.... educate or dont complain!!!! Ignorance is an oppressors greatest weapon. Again most of my family fought for this country but I could be watched and considered a threat for sharing information that Americans are so blinded to and I think understanding these things are important.... I am 100 percent for America... I am not for the general public being lied to or misled by our leaders.
