In our churches today we emphasize how important church attendance is, how important giving to the church is, how important serving is and we wonder why our effect on society is so small. Jesus left the Great Commission to preach THE GOSPEL and HEAL the sick. The best we seem to do give a watered down version of the gospel and teach them to cope with sickness and disease because God will give you enough power to cope but not enough to heal😕. Jesus said heal the sick because I guess He thought we could do it. The most extreme churches will pray for God to heal them. The amazing part is Jesus said heal them, He didnt even say pray for them. If he is our example then we should do like Him. I think Jesus has more faith in us than we do.
