In our corner of the world, EGF and GF, there is so much suffering, anxiety and depression. I know I see more because of the work I do but the intensity of lonliness and despair is the worst Ive ever seen. In the course of two days, I have had calls or seen eight people who are suicidal, been affected by suicide, or are friends who are worried about their friends!! We need to pray that the people of this region will uplift their neighbors. If someone is down, smile, hold the door, offer a hand or pay for their meal..... whatever you feel like doing, do it! It is the right thing to do and you may make such a difference to that person. He or she has told me that when a random act of kindness was done onto them, that it give them a little hope! Love your neighbor as yourself..they will notice. Jesus was the ultimate and only perfect person in teaching about love and kindness. Through Him, we can decrease others feelings of isolation and hopelessness! As Pastor Paul, go and be the light!
