In our evening ritual with clever blacks, we concluded that most of us were raised by single mothers and that the absence of a father figure has had a negative impact in our lifes. That we have a responsibility to break that cycle by becoming involved in raising the black child. That we should distinguish being a father and being daddy. That is what Steve Biko would have expected of us over and above being in the struggle and Directors, CEO in govt and private sector.
