In our family, we had an oak tree in my grandmothers backyard that was well over 300 years old. We grew up using it and there were swings that were attached to it, and with those swings, memories of laughter of children and conversations of people of long past. Today that old tree split in half. And its Affected all of our family, friends, and neighbors. So today was like someone had died in our family and it is a very very sad day. Ironic how a tree can be seen as a family member when so much has been incorporated into its usage, and how it effects is all.
