In our feedback questions yesterday, we received many responses saying we are biased towards Modi/BJP, as though we shouldnt be! First thing, we have never pretended or said anywhere we are not pro-Modi. Second, our pro-Modi stand does not mean that we automatically support BJP and all its ideology/policies. Third, our support to Modi is purely based on his governance principles that we see in action - not just by what he speaks but also by what we have seen/observed over the last so many years. If people can have blind faith on rookie politicians who want to be the PM of the country on the day of their baptism into politics because they want to change the system, or naadaan nanhe parindey because they are next in line to the throne due to the advantage of their surnames or dynasty, or healing babas and such, I guess as ordinary citizens of this country we are well within our rights to choose someone who we think is capable of running this country and a better qualified one at that, compared to the available alternatives, and that he or she deserves a fair chance. That is least of all blind faith, and at best a careful consideration based on available data on track record. And yes, we are opinionated, so we have our own opinions/views on that, that we say on our page. We never insisted anyone should blindly follow our political views nor do we expect anyone to agree with us. Neither are we running a newshour or durbar here to remain neutral, so why the heck we cant be what we are and say what we say! And we continue to say, we would like to see a government led by Modi post 16th of May to change the course of this country to the next level. If he deviates from that path, we shall not hesitate to change our opinion.
