In our first meeting with him somewhere around 1988 to 89 in our school number three, I didnt expected to meet the head of Sudanese arms groups ( Dr. John. I thought our early gathering was to welcome the hopeless UN personnel who where bring us nothing but three bags of maize per a day.. After jubilation and ululation of the crowns, it crossed my eyes that something more interesting than those poor UN personnel has arrived. .more than three Sudanese military vehicle dropped to the crown with high speeds pouring armed to teeth soldier into the crown with blink of an eye.. Few seconds later, there came group of seem to been a well trained military leaders walked in towards us with pride wide smells on his face, arms fist ball up in the SPLA oyee...here comes a short thick man who had two pistols side by side and the other on his thigh giggling hanging to his leg, looking anxiously to meet us..I was Sitting beside Utaz yaak..soldiers where standing in the mood of ready to attack any suspicious behavior in the gathering. As he moved, the squads stepped forward to the direction he went.. Nothing crossed my mind from all he said until he demonstrated his example while pointing at me in the front row beside Utaz yaak. if some comes to your father house and take all your belongs cows, goats and even your luak, would you let them go? Said Dr. John. I shuck my head. thats what people in the North want to do us Thats example changed my life at the first place although there where changes happen in the middle, my driving force was his example.. Dr John was a hero... He knew how to win his audience minds....
