In our haste to make a point, or win the debate...we must maintain the highest standards of honesty, moral clarity and absolute integrity of purpose. No spinning a small fact into an audacious claim. No bending a truth to the right or left to cast it in a more politically favorable light. Otherwise, we drive away the very hearts and minds we are trying to illuminate to the truth of how out-of-control our government has become. Congress has become drunk on its own power...passing volumes of legislation which they NEVER read and placing an administrative choke-hold on liberty. We need to be able to count on the media to show us these dangers...but sadly both sides have co-opted truth. To quote Switchfoot...
