In our lives, sooner or later, God touches us with special people. We dont get to pick or choose. By His grace it just happens. Sometimes we know it is special. Too often we take it for granted. When we experience the loss of someone so significant, there can be no doubt however, that at best, life is fleeting. So too are those special friendships, relationships, and bonds of brotherhood. On this day, the anniversary of the passing of my partner and brother, Jimmy Edney, let me encourage each of you to acknowledge in some meaningful way, those who are special to you in your life. We are not promised another opportunity to express what we hope they know already. We are foolish to assume that they do. It has been said that, As the arrow once loosed and the word once spoken; opportunity missed can not be retrieved. I miss you James. Thanks for the special times and your faithful friendship as you had my back so many times. Jen and I both smile as we reflect on those special times and little known stories and adventures. We were blessed. Thank you God!
