In our modern society, we receive many offers of assistance given with the suggestion that they are offered out of kindness. Unfortunately, we frequently discover that the ones offering assistance have ulterior motives. Perhaps they are trying to sell someone something, or maybe there is a political gain for the one making the offer. However, the kindness of GOD [our HEAVENLY FATHER] comes with no strings attached. It cannot be bought and HIS kindness is not politically motivated. GODS kindness is based on HIS desire to protect HIS children from the self-serving interests of a perverse and evil world. As children of our HEAVENLY FATHER and recipients of HIS unequaled kindness, we are to be conduits through which HIS kindness is freely shared with others. We should practice kindness with everyone beginning with our own families [wives, husbands, children, brothers, sisters, parents, etc]. We should also practice kindness with close friends and casual acquaintances, and complete strangers. And as hard as it may seem, even with those who seem to go out of their way to be unkind to us. Remember to practice acts of kindness and you will become kind. Discover for yourself that THE LORD is kind. Come to HIM for protection, and you will be glad. -[Psalm 34:8] Today we pray that all those for whom we are praying will freely accept GODS kindness and unselfishly share that kindness with everyone one they meet.
