We recommend watching ‘The Necessities of Life’ directed by Benoit Pilon. The film takes place in 1952. Tivii, an Inuit hunter with tuberculosis leaves his northern home to go recuperate at a sanatorium in Quebec City. Uprooted and faced with a completely alien world, he becomes despondent.
