In our todays world, do you know that slavery has taken a new dimension despite the believe that we are done with such agony? In our current society, people are being use and things are being valued. Let me use this one example. Considering when people are shouting and praising the #18,000 minimum wage, somebody will spend his or her time, knowledge and effort, bringing resources together in an establishment so as to yield result spending wholly about ten (10) hours; that is from 8am to 5pm and at the end of the month, he or she will go home with a stipen of lets say #20,000 here. With such amount of money, how will he or she cope with life necessities? Permit me to use a little calculation. Using myself to set example. For instance, I am earning #20,000 per month to survive with that for 31 days which makes up a month. #20,000 devided by 31 days is equals approximately #645/day and #645 devided by 10hours is equals to #64/hr. Now lets consider be basic requirements in life... Food, shelter and clothing. Permite me to use myself as an example here, no problem. I happen to eat three square meal a day @ #200 each. On food alone, I have spent #600 a day remaining a balance of #64 from my daily salary (is it proper I put it as salary or wage?) where will my transport, my clothings, my recharge cards, my house rent, my NEPA bill, Water bill, toilet bill, church offerings, family, subscriptions,... And lots more come from? Where will the money to meet up with those needs come from? Slavery Part 2! Think out of the box no matter thr pressure.
