In our worship experience this morning we made two happy announcements. First, after two wonderful years of service as a key parts of the VillageHouston leadership team, Byron and Ashley Ellis will be transitioning out of Houston into a new ministry opportunity in Albany, NY. We love them and hate to see them leave, but believe this is the work of the Holy Spirit for their lives and are so eager to see God do amazing things in Albany through them. Their last Sunday with us will be July 14. Our second big announcement is after a year of interning with us, Kaylah Griffin will be transitioning into our Missions and Outreach coordinator role. She will be facilitating WCR, our missions work, and our community outreaches. Kaylah has shown herself to be called by God, gifted, and capable this last year and God is going to do some amazing things through her. Please congratulate Byron and Ashley on their new opportunity and Kaylah on her new leadership role!
