In partnership with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), Amicorp Davao participated in a one-day tree planting event at Eden Reforestation Area an hour away from Davao City along with students from a local high school and university. The team took part in this initiative to promote environmental sustainability and to actively advocate the team’s underlying sentiment to save the nature for the succeeding generations. The team planted 60 seedlings during that day. Based on an estimation that a single tree produces 80,500 sheets of A4-sized paper, our planting initiative has more than offset the environmental impact of our paper consumption estimated at around 10,200 sheets per year. The experience was truly memorable and meaningful because everyone took it as an opportunity to help and give back to the environment for the good of the generations to come.
