In private and corporate networks cables in different qualities are used. Cat 5, Cat 6, or Cat 7: the higher the categorie, the higher the quality and thus the signaling speed. Users all have the same task: They have to prepare the inner conductors for further handling. Often they are PVC-isolated, and to strip network cables without damaging the shield and the inner conductors is very often complex and time-consuming. The solution to this problem: Jokari’s wire stripper No. 1 Cat. On the one side the outer isolation can be scratched and then be bended and stripped after a slight left-right-movement. The second side is used to remove the foil isolation oft he pairs of conductors. To do so the blade must be used at the point at which the isolation shall be stripped. It is important not to use to much pressure, and the blade should touch the isolation only slightly. Again with left-right-movement the foil isolation is scratched. Moving and bending the conductors by hand will finally loose the isolation. For this operation users need a little bit of feeling but it is learned quickly.
