In public, the standard response is that we workout to be healthy. When we pass on the candy/cake at work, it is because we are being nutritious. Sometimes it is hard to say - I am trying to knock off 20lbs. But typically, that is the underlying reason - weight loss. So in our quest to reach that number on the scale, lets remember - we didnt gain the weight overnight, so we arent going to lose it overnight. Keep pushing harder each day - eat (but eat nutritiously), exercise (and always remember to stretch), stay hydrated (drink water), and get plenty of sleep. Dont forget to take your measurements - muscles weights more than fat!
