In questions of science the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual. - Galileo Galilei In matters of science… 1) there is no such thing as consensus science - its not a popularity contest, its not democratic, you dont get to vote - if you have to resort to how many people think something is true and how many people dont, you have already left the realm of science 2) a title, a bunch of letters after your name, a big introduction, or any other position of authority does not give any more weight to what you say in real science - anyone and everyone is capable of errors in thought, the only thing that gives weight to what you say in science is if it is accurate/logical/factual ... everything else is opinion, conjecture, editorial
